The update is such an improvement!!! Great app!

I used SocialFlight before and loved the event info but the new POI info adds a whole new dimension. The new look is beautiful, much more polished. A must-have for all pilots and aviation enthusiasts.

The new app design is wonderful! So sleek and easy to use! Finally, an app that has all the best $100 hamburgers...

Simply does not work. Screen goes dark and locks up. This, after giving up your e-mail address and name. I deleated the app, now hoping I dont get a bunch of junk e-mail.

My kids love airplanes. Great way to find a weekend destination for them! Now we can find out where to eat too.

Social flight opened an entirely new world of adventures for me this past summer. With a "new" classic in my hangar, I was ready to seek out the nearest fly-in so I could enjoy the company of like-minded flyers, smell the freshly cut grass, coffee and breakfast on the grill. SocialFlight is my "go to" app for aviation events. Ive enjoyed webinars on safety, maintenance, and avionics that I would not have known about without SocialFlight. I look forward each week to the notice about events in my local area. For future planning, you can look as far in advance as you like, however I prefer the 60 day calendar for planning. You can customize the application and find the events that are most suitable to you and your airplane. The airport information includes current and forecast weather, NOTAMS, communications, hours of operation, location, services, near-by attractions and much much more. As you can tell, I LOVE THIS APP! This is an app that I use frequently and have come to depend on when it comes to filling my aviation social calendar.

Good idea but the app needs work. On my iPad 3, iOS 8.1, it doesnt use my location even though Ive turned on location services for the app. Also it shows every private and obscure "airport" on the map and no way to change that.

When I try to look at an event all I get is a pop up ad that I cant get rid of. Im deleting the app it is trash...

I have used this app since it first came out. Since then it has been improving ever since and it will keep improving as time goes on. I have no complaints. When I talk to people at my airport and tell them about this amazing app, I am growing the aviation community dramatically. Now even people without any aviation experience can go to these events and grow the community. I love this app.

Version 4.4 is better than I would ever imagine hotspots are great in adding an event is so simple. Now everyone I know has social flight and we can interact using the hanger. I can also promote my business using events at my airport. Now my business have been more popular than ever because of social flight. Five stars all around.

I love this app. I use it regularly to find places to meet friends. I rec belt decided to change my search settings and every time I try, the settings crash.

I fly my plane so much more now that I have SocialFlight! I make it a point to find at least one fly in to go to a month!
